Johann Gottlob Schelle was born in Dresden like his father, served in the army, and then returned to dresden to marry and settle down. It may be that his miitary career was in or near dresed too. Translation can be difficult, even for the Germans, so our best guess is he was a foundry worker, in the king's brass foundry during his middle years and may have been with the stables in his older years (stable keeper). Johann died on January 21, 1790 of "feebleness".

Dorothea died on August 10, 1789 of a stroke (apoplectic...a hemmorage of a blood vessel in the brain).

Johann and Dorothea lost their first babies (twins) after eleven days. Seems odd they would both live just eleven days.
